Do I need any prior experience to join the advanced classes? Yes, our advanced hair styling classes are designed for experienced stylists or those who have completed our beginner course. If you’re confident in basic hairstyling techniques, you’re ready to take the next step!
Can I join the advanced classes if I’ve studied elsewhere? Absolutely! If you’ve completed a hairstyling course or have hands-on experience in hairstyling, you’re welcome to join. We’ll help you build on your existing skills.
Can I join if I only want to learn a specific advanced style?
Yes, our advanced classes are designed to be flexible, giving you the opportunity to focus on mastering the styles and techniques that interest you most. Explore our course curriculum below to see the styles we’re currently offering and their schedules. You can book individual classes or opt for the full advanced package to take advantage of our package pricing.

We keep our classes small and personalised. Class sizes of 6 or less students will have one qualified teacher and class sizes of 7-12 students will have two teachers available. Ensuring you'll always have plenty of support as you learn.

Who is this course suited for?
This course is ideal for graduates of our Certified Hair Styling course or any similar training program. It’s designed for those who already have a solid understanding of the basics and are ready to elevate their skills with advanced techniques and learn the latest styles of hair styling.
Do I need to bring hair tools and a manniquin?
We provide products and most of the tools needed for use in the classroom, however many of our advanced hair styling students choose to also bring their own. At minimum we ask students to bring a long-hair mannequin head, a curling wand, and a hair dryer for the classes. If you don’t have these items, don’t worry—our Academy offers them for sale as well!
